The colossal remains of Romanian giants, Jorgevay and the ruins of Bungeon, the leader of Burebista, have captured global attention for over two weeks, delighting people worldwide, as reported by co-organizers and enthusiasts. Among those involved in the Romanian excavation is the eighty-year-old Ionits Florea, the project’s lead, as per Beforeitsпews.com. Back in 1940, Florea unearthed a massive skull and presented it to an archaeologist, conducting his digs without the help of laborers. According to Florea, the artifacts were loaded onto trucks and kept under wraps.

The burial ground was expected to contain around 80 bodies, with the majority of them being fully intact. Additionally, large ceramic pots filled with grains were discovered. However, as Florea revealed in an interview with the Romanian weekly Libertatea, no one knows the whereabouts of the skeletons since then. In recent years, the residents of Scaieni have stumbled upon a cemetery of giants while planting an apple orchard. Alongside the oversized skulls, they uncovered well-preserved skeletons, jewelry, and fragments of colossal 3-meter sculptures. A group of archaeologists arrived at the site, the findings were taken away, and the discovery was subsequently forgotten, fading into obscurity among the local population.

Interestingly, there is a wealth of legends in Romania that prominently feature the existence of giant beings. These remarkable figures were said to have once inhabited the forests surrounding Scaieni. According to local accounts, there exist vast vaults beneath the mountains, concealing underground passages filled with untold treasures. However, when journalists sought to delve into this mystery in 2016, they discovered that the investigation was shrouded in strict secrecy, leaving many questions unanswered.
