There are beings destined to be together for life; and even when they have to part, for one reason or another they meet again forever. These are the endings we’d like to see repeated with our beloved pets, when owners and dogs are separated, as if a part of them has been ripped apart.

That’s what happened to this poor old man from Georgia after losing his dog Georgie over an endless period of 3 years. 

He mourns his lost dog every day

After all efforts to find it, everything seems lost and each time the hope of finding it again fades away. But one fine day, he received a phone call from a store owner informing him of news he couldn’t seem to believe.

The man tells him that a dog with similar characteristics to Georgie’s is still in front of his barn. But the old man thought it was a mistake.

Although he did not believe it, he told himself that he would not give up the possibility of finding you from afar , so he took the bus to the aforementioned shop, where the magical reunion would take place.

The old man began to exchange words with the shop owner, who said to him:

“It looks a lot like him, have you seen it? Look, it’s here under the tree.”

The old man with his heart beating a thousand times an hour, said:

“Is that you? Georgie?… Georgie is you!!! Aww sweet boy, how are you my boy?

When it seemed like we’d had enough and our eyes couldn’t get dry after witnessing the beautiful reunion between owner and puppy, Georgie reacted in an inspiring way.

At first he is hesitant, but then his tail begins to wag and he does not stop crying because he does not understand why they were separated.

It is the most heartbreaking cry that responds to an affectionate reproach as if to say: “Why have you been gone for so long?”

Then the old man, still unable to believe it, tells the store owner that he was lost for 3 years. And the man recounts that he knew it, that through clients in the neighborhood he found out about the loss of his dog and that coincidentally it seemed to him that the puppy that was in front of his store was the same one from the story. She right away she figured out how to find him and called him. Is incredible!

Some netizens were impressed by the yellow tag the puppy wore on his ear. It was later revealed that this was because  he could have been taken to the vet and monitored for vaccinations, but then he probably escaped.

Finally, the old man asked the shop owner, who was filming the video, to stop the camera to take a picture of him.
