The weather and high temperatures that hit the planet at the beginning of the year caused a wave of fires in various regions of the world. Not only Australia suffered the ravages of this reality. Long before, in Chile, the port of Valparaíso also turned into hell.

Three years ago, hundreds of people had to painfully witness the disappearance of their homes due to the effect of the flames. The beautiful view of the Ocean was hidden behind a thick layer of smoke and ash.

Cries and screams filled the stale air and in a matter of minutes , hundreds of families lost the fruit of years of effort, as a result of the bloodiest fire ever recorded in the history of this beautiful South American city-port.

Homes, memories of a lifetime, missing relatives and desolation were the results of the hell unleashed in Valparaíso, taking with it even the smile of a couple from Buenos Aires affected by the flames.

The marriage was barely able to escape from their home before the fire of that black, red and eternal night devastated everything. When the sun illuminated the dawn and the remains of their house, the silence of the tears spoke for them.

But they were not crying only for the ashes of their home that had cost them so much to build, nor for their material goods. His family was incomplete, they had lost something that they would never be able to replace: their beloved pet was nowhere to be found .

They searched for him everywhere, they called him for hours, but the dog did not appear . Everything seemed to indicate that the little furry would have succumbed to the disaster. Just thinking that the fire had claimed the life of the most joyful and kind creature in the house, the couple simply went crazy.

“ Material goods can always be recovered, but losing our pet is the hardest thing that could have happened to us. He is nowhere to be found , ”said the desperate couple.

However, hope is the last thing to be lost. Miracles exist, even in times of crisis and disaster when all seems lost, since, days after the fire and being inside a makeshift tent to survive, the couple witnessed the impossible. There, running towards them in a frantic manner, their beloved dog was rapidly approaching to pounce on them.

“ He is alive and well, all my prayers have been answered! ”, the woman exclaimed with infinite joy.

With tears in their eyes and a smile both on their faces and in their hearts, the couple and their dog finally melted into a long hug in which it could be seen how the loyal pet was also smiling from ear to ear.

In the end, everyone laughed and cried with happiness amid a shower of applause and congratulations to this broken family that, thanks to providence, is now united again. In the sky, a small ray of hope pierced the dense smoke that covered the city.

The images shared on social networks have shown us without a doubt that  the bond of love that exists between a dog and its humans is something unique, unbreakable and irreplaceable.
