Meet the “World’s Shortest” Mother and Her Adorable Children.pink

Stacey leaves behind her husband Wil, 35, daughters Kateri and Makya, 11, and son Malachi, 8, who all reside in the family’s Kentucky home.

In defiance of her physicians’ warnings not to become pregnant because the baby would grow too large and choke her heart and lungs, Stacey gave birth. Despite medical advice against doing so, she had three children in only three years. Her two children, Kateri and Malachi, inherited her disease, which the family wishes to prevent.

Malachi, her youngest child, was delivered via Caesarean section on November 28, 2010, eight weeks early, and weighed 2 lbs 10 oz. After the treatment, he required 34 sutures. Stacey said, “He’s the most lovely immaculate guy I’ve ever seen. I just want to be by his side.”

“When Malachi was born, he had no broken bones. People like us are born with broken limbs and legs because childbirth might break our brittle bones.

I made it clear that while they are all special kids, the girls should keep an eye on Malachi until he gets a little older. It was challenging when we learned Malachi had my disease. But since Kateri and I were both there, we were confident that we could offer him the finest assistance possible.

Despite being confined to a wheelchair, Stacey took an active role in caring for the children, along with her husband Wil, whom she met in 2000 while working in a super town, and whom she married in 2004. She changes the children’s diapers on a specially designed pedestal while bathing them, nursing Malachi, and using her wheelchair.

Wil’s father, who is 5ft 9ins tall, took care of them at night because it was getting too difficult for her by then. Stacey said at the time of the birth of her third child, “Anything I can’t do, Wil can. He’s so good at getting up at night and changing diapers and feeding the girls, he really is one lucky person.”

Despite the difficulties she faced and the great risk she put herself in while giving birth, Stacey claims she sees herself as a “wonder” and is convinced that her children “will be miracles too.”
