Background on the Stryker Family

The Stryker is an eight-wheeled armored fighting vehicle family derived from the Canadian LAV III. Produced by General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada (GDLS-C) for the United States Army, Stryker vehicles are assembled in London, Ontario. They can operate in four-wheel drive (8×4) and switch to all-wheel drive (8×8) as needed.
