We all know that there is nothing more adorable than a cute little puppy . Unfortunately, we live in a world where there are still many people willing to hurt an innocent animal and all for the most absurd reasons. Ice  is a puppy that was found with a terrible injury on his face From him.

Ice spent three days without medical attention

No one can explain how he managed to survive after so long. They had left him in a cage, in the middle of the forest after giving him a gunshot wound. His story is a sad reminder of the terrible treatment to which many puppies are subjected.

“Ice is living proof of man’s power for the greater evil, but also for the greater good.”

After a series of investigations, the authorities managed to find the culprit. He had been none other than Ice’s owner and claimed that he had done such a terrible thing just because the puppy was happy all the time . Ice was transferred to the Save a Greek Stray shelter . It was one of the most heartbreaking cases, but one thing was clear: Ice really wanted to live .

“He was a very difficult case, but his great spirit inspired the vets. He never stopped being loving.”

Even after having gone through something so outrageous, the cute little dog did nothing more than wag his tail from one side to the other to fully enjoy the few days in which he was out of an operating room . The wound on his face managed to heal and the vets made a skin graft taken from his neck .

Ice received surgeries and treatment for 4 months.

Over time, the scar from his painful past healed and he even began to have thicker, more striking fur right there .

“It gives it a very particular look. But it’s a constant reminder of all the pain he went through.”

Now, it was just a matter of hoping that Ice would meet a family that was perfect for him. He began to spend his days in his shelter and continued to show his will to live. Unfortunately, the huge mark on his face could be off-putting to many.

“After you’ve won a great battle, it seems like nothing can hurt you except rejection.”

His rescuers, however, knew that his enormous heart would soon win someone over . He was still a puppy with a lot of desire to play and deliver all the love that he had inside of him.

Ice was finally adopted by a family in the UK (although the ending is hopeful, the scenes may hurt feelings):

After everything this beautiful puppy had to go through, it’s time for him to enjoy himself and only have happy moments with people who value his personality.
