AUSA 2023: General Dynamics Land Systems Unveils the New

At the 2023 Association of the United States Army (AUSA) annual meeting, General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) introduced an innovative variant of the Stryker vehicle aimed at enhancing future battlefield capabilities. The new model, designated the StrykerQB, integrates advanced technologies designed to provide a tactical edge in upcoming military operations.

Advanced Mission Equipment Package (MEP)

The StrykerQB features a high-tech Mission Equipment Package (MEP) that empowers both the vehicle and its dismounted troops to achieve superiority in various operational environments. Key enhancements focus on command, control, communications, computing, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C5ISR).

Key Features Include:

  • Electronic Warfare Systems: These systems enhance the vehicle’s ability to disrupt enemy communications and radar.
  • Robust Networking and Data Sharing: Improved capabilities ensure seamless communication and data transfer between units.

The StrykerQB is equipped with a remotely operated turret, which can be armed with either a 30 mm cannon or Javelin anti-tank missiles. This configuration provides direct fire support to dismounted infantry, enhancing the vehicle’s versatility and combat effectiveness.
