After living its whole life as a fighting dog, it was rescued and trusted humans again

When we think of our pets, we always picture a cheerful and playful little animal waiting for us and wagging its tail at us when we talk to them. However, there are many domestic animals that do not have such luck and face completely different realities .

The use of pets for profit, such as secret dogfights, is quite common. This is  a market rife with animal cruelty and abuse, where their owners are willing to sacrifice everything to make an animal happy just for the sake of simple money.

Liam didn’t know if he could trust humans again.

Many animals cannot survive the life they are forced to live, and those trying to escape their cruel owners will have a long way to go to recovery , if they can just trust humans. Again.

Liam is this type of dog, it is used as a fighting dog. Those who rescued the dog speculate that the dog was used as a decoy contestant, because despite his majesty, the puppy was always very noble and not aggressive at all.

His body is covered with scars from many battles.

A woman named Melanie Pafford, who works at the Streetdog Foundation, found him living under a trash can, and she said that when she first saw him, his expression was defeated, he is simply ready to say goodbye to life .

She reports that he is not looking at her and that although he is not aggressive, he does not know how to react to her presence; dogs in those situations are willing to give up their lives. This is another sign that in all his life no one has shown love to the poor little animal.

But help hasn’t come yet…

Fortunately, the puppy was rescued by the right people to face the challenge of filling his life with love and care ; After all, the Streetdog Foundation was previously authorized to save the lives of at least 750 dogs.

The first step to getting Liam back was to take him to the vet, where all his injuries were treated and eventually gave way to the puppy’s rehabilitation, for him. saw that his whole life was about to change.

Melanie says they just wanted to make him understand that his life is valuable and that from now on everything will be fine . Gradually, they noticed the puppy’s progress, while his scars were healing and his fur growing back.

Until the sweetest thing happened, Liam’s first friend came into his life, because before trusting any human from the ground up,  he put all his trust in an orange stuffed dog. .

Two people go everywhere.

Melanie watched him walk the orange dog around; Even if he’s just going to the bathroom, he’ll bring the puppy along.

After a month of therapy,  Liam looked completely different from the rescued puppy . His confidence grows and he even has an adopted family.

His new owners will provide him with a life filled with love and care.

Together with his adoptive family, he experienced a completely different world, living in a house for the first time, playing in the yard and walking with his caregivers. Although Liam went through the worst situation, everything was behind him and now he is smiling.
