Mau was approximately two years old when a compassionate passerby found him in a cemetery. He was emaciated, without energy, very dehydrated and his breathing was so weak that he left the boxes on the side of the road.

The man tried to feed him, but Mau refused to eat and sat on the balcony with a sad expression. He took Mau to the veterinary hospital the next day at 8:00 am.

He was quickly sent for an MRI because the specialist thought he had a spinal problem. The results surprised the veterinarians because at that time he was carrying two bullets, one in front of his chest and the other in the center of his spine.

They had been in Mau’s body for a long time and would be difficult to deal with. All liver, kidney, and digestive system indices were very low, and infection was common. It was terrifying and painful for those who were struggling to make ends meet on a daily basis.
