Hope for Paws in Los Angeles  learned of Petunia’s plight and the rescue team decided to go to the place she frequented to help her.

When they reached the area, they found her wandering in a parking lot.

When Petunia realized they were coming towards her, she immediately panicked and took refuge under a truck parked nearby. Eldad Agar, founder of Hope for Paws, is the man in charge of getting Petunia.

Eldad got under the truck to try to reach her, he said he noticed this dog’s anxiety and it became more intense as he approached her, to the point where he got up to escape and at that moment he grabbed her. guide pins.

Trying to catch a scared dog is unwise, but Eldad trusts his experience and knows that Petunia needs help. He wanted to stop her from running away again and acted quickly, trying to pull her out of the truck and into his lap.

Moments later, the rescue team found a puppy, lying among many leaves, they estimated it was 3 days old, it still could not open its eyes.

They immediately brought him to Petunia to ease his anxiety, they named him Petunia.

The rescue team once suspected the existence of some other Petunia puppies. She needs to tell them if there really are other cubs or if it’s just Petals.

Eldad took Petunia to different parts of the area and placed an audio clip with a crying puppy to see Petunia’s reaction, however as soon as she heard the audio she went back to Petals, This leads the group to believe it’s just an infant.

They immediately took them both to the vet for medical care and discovered that Petunia had only a mild ear infection. Both are growing stronger and happier, waiting to find a new home that gives them the care and love they deserve.
